The Stanislaus County Office of Education is now accepting applications for the Leadership Academy program. Students who will be juniors or seniors for the 2023-2024 school year have until the April 7 application deadline to apply.

Leadership Academy’s class of 2023-24 will be the 20th class. “We are now celebrating the Leadership Academy’s 20th anniversary,” said SCOE Youth Programs Coordinator Erikka Perry. “This innovative program is designed to develop the leadership potential of Stanislaus County high school juniors and seniors.”

Student participants interact with their peers and community leaders during full-day sessions to learn firsthand about emerging community issues and increase their awareness of local career opportunities. Program benefits include business and community networking, scholarship, and volunteer opportunities.
