Participants will receive an overview of the DRDP 2015 format, learn the use of documentation and evidence to rate measures, and learn the importance of inter-rater reliability. Must attend all 3 sessions to receive credit for DRDP Teacher Training. There will be homework and reading that will need to be completed between sessions. 

Particpants must attend all sessions to receive credit.

Google Keep Keeps Me Keepin' On

Ever needed to document something and you didn’t have anything to jot it down?  Google Keep can be used in a multitude of ways, both personally and academically.  Google Keep will allow you to create a colorful list for anything and keep you and your students organized with daily tasks, research projects, or setting long term goals right from your mobile device.  Attendees will walk away with a good grasp of how to use Keep with your students as well as some practical uses for your own personal life.

Explore and unpack an exciting module that focuses on integrating Visual Art and History/Social Science.  Designed to enhance both the quality of Visual Arts and History/Social Science learning, this module provides a model for integrating the subjects, and provides four integrated units meeting the rigor of Visual Art and History/Social Science standards. In this hands-on session, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in some of the Visual Art and History/Social Science skills outlined in the module’s integrated units.

Preventative Health & Safety Training

Preventive Health and Safety Training Nutrition is an eight (8) hour classroom-based course designed to meet the California Emergency Medical Authority (EMSA) state licensing requirements for child care. The training provides instruction that is comprehensive and practical. The course prepares administrators and employees of child care centers and family child homes small or large to keep the children in their care safe and healthy from injury and illness.

Spring Thing: Arts Integration Spring Themed Art Projects

Join us for an exciting and engaging night of arts integration and arts making!  This workshop, inspired by the spring season, focuses on integrating elements of spring, and books about spring into classroom curricula and the visual arts. Attendees will participate in the making of four full arts projects (new projects from previous year) and will receive lesson plans for four projects.  Provided lesson plans align to VAPA and CCSS Standards.
