Universal Design for Learning & Arts Integration

Unpack Universal Design for Learning (UDL) alongside the Arts Integration.  Did you know the California Arts Standards outline the usage of UDL in Arts learning? This workshop focuses on how a model for Arts Integration can be utilized alongside UDL for equitable and accessible arts learning experiences for all students.  This session provides time for some hands-on Arts learning too! The goal is for attendees to leave feeling they know how to use UDL and Arts Integration to foster equitable and accessible student learning.

Stanislaus COE will host this day of WELL-BEING, featuring presentations from the NIROGA Institute, specializing in Dynamic Mindfulness Curriculum.  Niroga Institute promotes equity through trauma-informed Dynamic Mindfulness, strengthening resilience and empathy in schools and communities.

ELPAC Administration Training, Initial Assessment

State and federal law require that local educational agencies administer a state test of ELP to eligible students in TK through grade twelve. This workshop covers the Initial Assessment the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) only. Participants will need to attend a separate workshop to be certified for the Summative Assessment.

CA State Library K-12 Content Project Training and Implementation Day

Conference Center

Britannica Online, STEM and NGSS Resources and Digital Materials, Books, Lesson Plans, Access to safe and secure and accurate research materials geared for the classroom and usable by students, as well as access to 1,200 streaming videos from PBS covering a wide range of topics. All this plus 24 hour online tutoring through HelpNow. Come and join us for a day of learning about these resources and work on developing strategies for using them in your classroom. IT sessions for those working with getting this started in your district will also be offered.

MATHCON 2023: TK-12 Math Conference

The Stanislaus County Office of Education MATHCON 2023 is the premier location in the Central Valley to engage in a wide variety of professional development opportunities in the area of math instruction for the TK-12 classroom.

In addition to a fantastic keynote speaker, Dan Meyer, we will have several breakout sessions hosted by rock star teachers from across Stanislaus County and an exhibit hall filled with powerful resources to bring back to their classrooms.

Lunch is provided and there will be ample opportunities to win prizes throughout the day.
