Join us for this special day when we open our campus to visitors!  This is your opportunity to see our facilities and tour our Dorms, Dining Hall, Campus and hike our trails!  

We will be leading activities, selling Foothill merchandise and offering guided tours and hikes.

This is the perfect opportunity to ask our staff questions about your child's future visit to Foothill, or to see the campus if you haven't yet.

An Evening with EduProtocol Authors

Join three EduProtocol authors (Jon Corippo, Kim Voge, and Jacob Carr) for an evening of demonstrations, conversation, and dessert in the Central Valley High School Professional Development Center. The authors will demonstrate the Smart Start EduProtocol with attendees. Additionally, strategies for using EduProtocols with your classroom and staff will be shared by the authors.

Flip (Flipgrid): Building Engagement and Student Voice

Flip (Formally Flipgrid) is an easy to use video creation tool that can have anyone creating in seconds. Have students work on speaking and listening skills at the push of a button, EL students using video to gain fluency and confidence in English. The Stanislaus County Office of Education MATHCON 2022 is the premier location in the Central Valley to engage in a wide variety of professional development opportunities in the area of math instruction for the TK-12 classroom.

In addition to a fantastic keynote speaker, Dan Meyer, we will have several breakout sessions hosted by rock star teachers from across Stanislaus County and an exhibit hall filled with powerful resources to bring back to their classrooms.

Podcasting for Everyone

Want to start your own podcast? Have students that would like to be content creators? Find new ways to deliver curriculum to your students. This class will go over the basics of how to leverage content creation with you students. We will be discussing Podcasting (both as a consumer and as a creator), blogging, as well as ways that you might fold the ideas and tactics of social media into your classroom. We will also cover how you can develop, record, produce and market your own content all using resources that you probably already have at your fingertips.
